NILDS DG Urges Christians To Embrace Forgiveness At Christmas

The Director General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman, extends heartfelt Christmas greetings to all Nigerians.

In his festive message, Sulaiman emphasised the significance of the Christmas season as a time for reflection on the virtues of forgiveness, charity, and sacrifice, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Jesus Christ. 

He encouraged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of inclusiveness, renewal, and collective prosperity, echoing the values promoted by the Institute.

“As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, let’s use this occasion to exchange goodwill within our communities and extend compassion to the less fortunate among us,” he said

He expresses optimism for a hopeful future, drawing parallels between the rebirth of hope during Christmas and the positive developments in the nation with a government that advocates inclusiveness and individual prosperity.

The DG extends warm congratulations to all Christians on witnessing yet another Christmas season, highlighting the importance of coming together with family, neighbors, and communities during this joyous occasion.

Nigeria Economic Situation Will Get Worse This Year, Says Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has predicted a worse economic situation in Nigeria this year.

He, however, said the situation would get better after the initial economic hardship.

He said, “I am not a prophet but a pastor. Second a true prophet would say what you won’t want to hear.

“Everything God is saying centred around one little sentence which interestingly I heard from those who were dramatising. The wind is blowing. Pray that it will blow you good. 

“As far as Nigeria is concerned, things will get worse before it gets better. You’re already complaining but the wind will get hotter before it will get cooler.it will get worse before it will get better.

“Because the wind is blowing, some serious secrets will come to the open. If the wind blows, you will see the anus of the chicken.

“Don’t lose hope,  things will get better don’t think of escaping from the country.

“Some will start this year with nothing but would end the year in abundance. 

“Some will start the year as nobody but before the end they will become an important personality.

“There will be many opportunities this year, so get ready for them. This is insider information.

“On the international scene, there will be divine intervention in countries at war.”

He also said there would medical breakthrough in areas of incurable diseases like cancer, diabetes, asthma and others.

Christmas: Share Love, Help The Poor, Madoki Urges Christians

The Senator representing Kebbi South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Garba Musa Maidoki, has congratulated the Christian community for witnessing another Christmas.

He admonished the brethren to use the season to share love and lend a helping hand to others, especially the less privileged.

Maidoki, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Legislative Compliance. , said Christmas is a period to exhibit more love and generosity to one another and coexist peacefully.

In a congratulatory message issued from his media office in Abuja, the legislator urges citizens across the state, particularly within Kebbi South Senatorial District to see the strength of unity in our diversity.

Maidoki charged christians to use the opportunity of the season to reflect on their contributions to peace building, growth and progress of the state in particular and the Nigerian nation in general.
