Olasunmibo Aboluwade, Abuja  Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka has warned relevant government agencies to thread with caution and ensure the safety of a former minister of power and steel, Dr. Olu Agunloye, who has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Service. Olukoyede, New EFCC Chair, Is RCCG Pastor

Olasunmibo Aboluwade, Abuja  President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, appointed Ola Olukoyede, as the new chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Olukoyede is a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). His appointment is subject to Senate’s confirmation.  The development followed the removal of the last ocuppant of the office of executive chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, some months ago for allegedly abusing his office.
